We are not property brokers, and we are not involved in any way in such activities. As such, the price you pay for your well-deserved break is free of additional costs and charges. The only extra cost, which is limited to certain types of stay, is the rental agreement registration fee, mandatory for stays longer than one month. This equates to 2% of the rent, and will be divided equally between us and the tenant. The tourist tax, established by the Municipality of Cervia in January 2016, is also excluded.
Throughout your stay we, the owners, will be your sole point of contact, and everything will be prompt and simple. This pre-empts one of the major sources of dissatisfaction: if a number of different parties are required to resolve a problem, the issue becomes more complicated the more people are involved. That won’t be an issue here!
Over the years, we have put a lot of energy into improving the apartments that we rent. Starting in the winter of 2011, we have insulated the roof of the house in accordance with energy saving standards, so that our loft apartments offer the best value for money, as mentioned in the page dedicated to Lowcost options. In the winters of 2012 and 2013 we renovated all of the bathrooms, fitting mosaic shower trays and light, bright floors and walls, improving the appearance and functionality of the rooms to provide our guests with a modern, tidy and convenient space.
In that same period we installed a 6 Kw Conergy solar panel system, and the following winter we also installed a solar thermal system, equipped with Weishaupt panels and boilers, to reduce our ecological footprint and offer you a space which can finally be regarded as environmentally friendly.
In the meantime, we replaced the kitchenettes and extended the Wi-Fi network coverage to all apartments using HotSpot technology, to make your stay even more pleasant and “shared”. The 2016 season sees the launch of a TV SAT satellite system, meaning that guests can use their decoders and paid TV subscriptions to keep up to date with their favourite shows, even while on holiday.
We have focused on making the houseenergy efficient and we want to share these benefits with you. While the offers we provide are on a small local scale, we believe that the quality of the space, made up of people and surroundings, should never be overlooked. As long as the sun continues to shine, we save energy so that you don’t have to pay the bills…
